Audience & Client Feedback on Antonio

This was very helpful and interesting as well. It helped me to piece together WHY it is important to dig deeper into a situation. We learn that you should treat adults a specific way because you never know who you are talking to, but the same should apply for children as well. It’s important to give children as fair of a chance and possible so they can achieve any goal imaginable. We never know where as person is going or where they’ve come from.

This session was engaging and informative to the audience. Mr. Grate brought insight on experiencing something to explain your why, that impacts the motivation to help others who have might experience the things you have.

This session was very heartfelt, and it helped me to realize a lot of things about myself and how I can look at myself differently rather than looking at myself as a failure when things doesn’t go as I planned it too

Antonio's presentation was very captivating. He had me crying talking about how he overcame the life obstacles that were thrown his way. I admire his positive mindset and ambition to educate others.

Very relatable and identifiable to my life and a great reminder of looking at the glass half full!

It was extremely motivational and inspiring. I feel it was personable as the way he was speaking, he had connected with everyone individually and emotionally. He gave insight on trauma in the beginning and it was a great way to start it off. He talked a lot about personal experiences and how he felt during certain moments of trauma and how he grew. Not only how he grew but the steps one should take when growing. How to push yourself to grow. How to allow yourself to grow and how to let yourself know you’re capable and worthy enough to grow. I cried three separate times. Definitely a great speaker and you should look into him and really listen to what he has to say. Everyone has a seed of greatness in them. It’s whether or not you want to stay dormant or not. Green pushed himself for his grandmother and was no longer dormant, he grew into somebody he didn’t think he could ever be as a child. This is inspiring what!? Somebody who went through more traumatic experiences than many have, has a life many people wish for. I know it’s not perfect and nobody knows what happens behind closed doors but he forgave the people who hurt him, has a beautiful family, travels the country to speak to youth, etc. A very beautiful story and an inspiring man.

Antonio spent a lot of time giving us a big pat in the back and talked about how valuable we are. So that was nice. He talked about his experience in the foster care system and how he was able to come out of it with hope and resilience. This is so encouraging to me as a CASA volunteer! I am also reading his book because I had to miss the live presentation, but I was so excited to see that it was recorded and I would get a chance to see and hear him! Thank you so much! My question for Antonio is do you speak to youth in the foster care system? I think you could do so much to provide hope and resilience to others going through what you have been through!! Thank you!
