Frequently Asked Questions on Working With Barbara
What should I know about working with you?
Working with me is collaborative, fun, and stress-free. I customize content to your goals, engage audiences with humor, energy, and practical tools, and stick around to add value. My focus is on making you look like a rockstar while giving your audience a memorable experience.
What's included in your fee?
My fee always includes prep calls, customized content, and an engaging delivery. Packages may also include mystery calls, visits, surveys, interviews, webinars, or full-conference participation. Each option is tailored to your goals, ensuring maximum value for your investment.
Can you customize your presentation for our specific audience and event theme?
Yes! Every presentation is fully customized. I take time to understand your goals and your people through prep calls, interviews, research, and sometimes mystery calls or surveys. My goal is always to make sure the session feels designed specifically for your audience, culture, and event theme.
What kind of promotional support do you offer to help market the event?
I help create buzz and boost attendance with promo videos, social media shoutouts, newsletter blurbs, and teaser resources. I can also host a teaser webinar or live Q&A to spark excitement. I’ll partner with your marketing team so all promotion feels aligned, polished, and on-brand.
How do you engage audiences post-event?
I keep momentum alive after the event with follow-up webinars, handouts, toolkits, Q&A sessions, coaching, and recordings (when permitted). These touchpoints reinforce key lessons, spark accountability, and help ensure the inspiration from my talk leads to lasting action and results.
Do you offer extras (book signings, meet-and-greets)?
Yes! I love connecting beyond the stage. Extras can include book signings, meet-and-greets, VIP roundtables, photo opportunities, and even emcee or panel roles. These activities add value, build connections, and create excitement by giving audiences more ways to engage with me.
My organization has a limited budget. Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?
Yes. My speaking fee ranges from $7,500–$20,000, but I’m flexible and open to creative solutions. Discounts may apply for referrals, repeat bookings, local events, recordings, or testimonials. If your budget is firm, let’s talk—I can tailor an option that works while still delivering big results.
Will I receive post-event materials (slides, recordings, handouts)?
Yes. I can provide handouts, checklists, or slides when appropriate. If the event is recorded and rights are agreed upon beforehand, I’m happy for you to share the recording internally. These resources reinforce learning, spark accountability, and extend the impact of the event.
What is your policy on event recordings and media rights?
I allow recordings as long as we discuss and agree in advance. Most can be shared internally with your team for a set time. For external use, we’ll outline terms in writing. I’m flexible and open, as long as expectations and usage are clear upfront so both sides feel confident.
What are your specific travel requirements?
Travel is simple: I usually fly from San Diego, economy or business depending on the trip length. I ask for a hotel at a full-service property near the venue. Beyond that, I keep logistics easy, flexible, and professional so travel is never a worry or distraction for your team.
