Frequently Asked Questions on Working With David
What should I know about working with you?
I pride myself on being easy to work with, whether speaking on communication skills for technical professionals or on workplace mental health and suicide prevention. I respond quickly, and if I don't, Julie ([email protected]) will.
What's included in your fee?
I customize my offer to the needs of your event. For some events, my flat fee has included interstate travel, a breakout in addition to a keynote, a pre-event webinar, and a book signing. Planning and tailoring calls are always included.
Can you customize your presentation for our specific audience and event theme?
My presentations are always customized to the audience and the event.
What kind of promotional support do you offer to help market the event?
I typically provide a customized video promo. Examples provided upon request.
My organization has a limited budget. Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?
Talk to me. I have a "menu" of things clients can sometimes do to offset the investment of bringing in a professional speaker.
What is your policy on event recordings and media rights?
I love it when clients want to record my programs for their internal use. Details are subject to negotiation depending on the time frame and intended usage. In return for allowing the program to be recorded, I do request a copy with usage rights and preferably audience releases.
