Drew Moldenhauer is the Owner and Master Instructor of Blue Ethos Specialized Training, where he equips organizations with advanced programs in Active Threat Preparedness, De-escalation, Situational Awareness, and High-Stakes Teamwork. With over two decades of law enforcement and teaching experience, Drew blends practical expertise with academic rigor to deliver training that is both engaging and impactful. Drew is a full-time Professor of Criminal Justice at Metropolitan State University in Minnesota. His academic work is complemented by his contributions to professional literature, including co-authoring the book How Smart Police Officers Use Situational Awareness to Improve Safety with Dr. Richard Gasaway—a resource widely used to strengthen safety practices across the field. As a keynote speaker and international trainer, Drew has addressed audiences across the United States and Canada in many diverse fields. Drew is a big advocate for mental health and is an IRONMAN.
