Joel's Bio
Dr. Joel Pérez is an executive and leadership coach, speaker, and consultant who helps leaders and organizations create a sense of belonging and psychological safety to achieve their professional and organizational goals. As founder of Apoyo Coaching and Consulting, LLC and a Professional Certified Coach (ICF). Joel is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education to his coaching and consulting work. He is the author of Dear White Leader: How to Achieve Organizational Excellence through Cultural Humility, which was awarded the Silver Medal for Best New Voice – Nonfiction by the Independent Book Publishers Association.
