Dr. Terry Ross – Bio Dr. Terry Ross is a seasoned educator, award-winning principal, and military veteran who has dedicated his life to service and the transformation of lives through leadership, education, and emotional intelligence. A former special education teacher and high school football coach, Dr. Ross has led at every level of K–12 education, serving as an elementary, middle, and high school principal, as well as an assistant superintendent. Throughout his career, Dr. Ross has consistently championed the belief that emotional intelligence and a growth mindset are essential ingredients for long-term personal and professional success. These core values have guided his leadership across schools, districts, and now in his work through New Teacher University and the Empowered Leadership Academy.
