Eddie's Bio

Eddie Francis is a communications strategist, award-winning broadcaster, and ethical leadership speaker. He hosts “The Way Forward” on WBOK radio in New Orleans and “For Our Edification,” a personal leadership podcast, and he is the author of The D9 Leadership Blueprint: Personal Leadership, Ubuntu, and Collective Impact. He has been quoted and featured in The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Huffington Post, Inside Higher Ed, and Careers in Government. Eddie has also appeared on various podcasts, including “Confessions of a Higher Ed CMO,” “The Horrible Boss Effect,” and “ILLUMENATE” among others. He’s been recognized for New Orleans Magazine’s “30 People to Watch,” the Press Club of New Orleans’ Best Radio Entertainment Feature, and two nominations for AMA’s Higher Education Marketer of the Year. Eddie earned his master’s in strategic leadership from Tennessee State University and his bachelor’s from Loyola University New Orleans.
