Eric's Bio
Why Book Coach Eric Twenty years coaching mental performance across hockey, MMA, baseball, flag football, and basketball taught Coach Eric one thing most performance speakers miss: the pressure an athlete — or an employee — chokes under is usually built by the adults or leaders around them, not a flaw sitting inside the person. He gives audiences tools that work in the actual moment of pressure, and gives the leaders in the room a framework for fixing what was never the performer's problem to fix in the first place. Before writing full-time, he spent a decade leading a multinational corporate safety and training program — including direct interface with OSHA — plus years as a conference emcee in front of audiences in the thousands. That background is the lived source of the "Safety" pillar in his own ACCESS framework. Trained under Dr. Tom Hanson (author of Play Big). Eric is the author of the Capacity Series (mental performance books and workbooks) & the CCS Stories (YA Fiction).

Frequently Asked Questions on Working With Eric
What should I know about working with you?
I'm low-maintenance and prepared. We'll do a planning call to tailor the talk to your audience and goals — no rider demands. I show up early, stay for questions, and tell you upfront if anything needs to change.
What's included in your fee?
Includes a 45-60 min keynote/workshop, a pre-event planning call, and a post-event resource pack for attendees. Travel is billed separately outside the Cincinnati, OH area.
Can you customize your presentation for our specific audience and event theme?
Yes! Customization is built in, not an add-on. The same framework flexes from locker room to boardroom. Tell me your audience and theme on our planning call and I'll show you the fit before you commit.
What kind of promotional support do you offer to help market the event?
I provide a bio, headshot, and event-ready talk description, can record a short personalized video invite, and promote through my own social channels and podcast audience where it's a fit.
How do you engage audiences post-event?
Attendees leave with a resource pack built around the talk's tools (provided as a digital link). I'm available for a follow-up Q&A window, and anyone who wants more has a natural next step in the Capacity Series books. Books from the series can be provided for an additional per book fee.
Do you offer extras (book signings, meet-and-greets)?
Yes — I'm the author of the Capacity Series and CCS Stories. Happy to bring books for a signing or stay for a meet-and-greet; just flag it in advance so we can plan logistics.
My organization has a limited budget. Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?
Often, yes — especially for schools, youth sports orgs, and nonprofits. Tell me your budget and I'll tell you honestly what's realistic: a shorter format, a workshop, or a reduced rate. My goal is to help. So, ask the hard question and I'll provide the honest answer.
Will I receive post-event materials (slides, recordings, handouts)?
You'll always get the digital attendee resource pack. Slides and recordings depend on what we arrange in advance — happy to discuss either on the planning call.
What is your policy on event recordings and media rights?
Glad to have the session recorded for internal use. For public use, let's agree in advance. As I build my speaking portfolio, I typically request a copy for my own marketing use in exchange.
What are your specific travel requirements?
Based in the Cincinnati, OH area. Local travel is often built into the fee; farther events bill coach airfare, hotel, and ground transport at cost. Happy to coordinate around nearby engagements.
