What should I know about working with you?
I’m a former McNair Director, Mellon Mays Fellow, and grad admissions author with 14+ years of experience supporting first-gen, BIPOC, and historically excluded communities. My talks are affirming, engaging, and grounded in cultural awareness, lived experience, and research-backed strategies.
What's included in your fee?
Each fee includes a planning call, live session, customized slides and/or handouts, and optional feedback. Add-ons like recordings or extra Q&A time can be included depending on your package and needs.
What kind of promotional support do you offer to help market the event?
I can share a speaker bio, headshot, and promotional text (e.g. workshop or keynote description). Events may be shared via my email list, podcast, or Instagram and LinkedIn if audience fit and capacity allow.
Do you offer extras (book signings, meet-and-greets)?
Yes! I offer book discounts for bulk orders, office hours, post-event Q&As, and special add-ons for group programs. Let me know what you're envisioning and we can tailor your package.
My organization has a limited budget. Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?
Absolutely! I offer virtual, hybrid, and pre-recorded options for student-led, nonprofit, or equity-centered programs on tighter budgets. Workshop packages are also available at special rates.
Will I receive post-event materials (slides, recordings, handouts)?
Yes! I provide handouts and slides in a downloadable PDF format. Recordings may be available for 30-day internal use with advance notice. Extended access or institutional use requires a licensing agreement and additional fee.
What are your specific travel requirements?
I primarily offer virtual talks. For in-person keynotes, I require travel reimbursement, lodging, accessibility accommodations, and rest time due to chronic health needs.
