Jordan's Bio
Jordan "KNWSLF" Brooks (he, him) is a multi passionate creator + educator. As an artist, he goes by the name KNWSLF, pronounced Know Self, which is an acronym for his creative purpose. Jordan is dedicated to helping individuals and communities by blending creative expression and inquiry with community-centered and student-centered interventions. Guided by the affirmation, “See yourself, know yourself, be yourself,” he crafts developmentally engaging experiences that encourage participants to envision and create inclusive and affirming concepts of self, relationships, communities, and organizations. Jordan is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Social and Cultural Studies of Education at Iowa State University, while working full-time as an Assistant Dean of Students. He holds a B.A. in Art & Technology and Psychology from Allegheny College and an M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
