How attendees describe this talk

“The degree to which you manage your fears, is the degree to which you’ll experience success” is a perfect quote to how we must manage our feelings when we experiencing imposter syndrome as healthcare providers. The four pillars reminds me that I can’t pour from an empty cup!

The session was very meaningful and eye opening. It was inspiring to hear the message on how important your relationship is with yourself. Kory’s message allowed me to know that I am more capable of what I think I am despite the outside noise of everyday life/my fears.

real, true to what some of us could be going through, and how to try to overcome it. how to become the best version of yourself and be grateful for not only yourself, but what you’ve done to get to where you are, and what you’re doing to get where you want to go.

Good advice about how to look at yourself, and feel more confident. How to be more positive and have a better perspective/outlook on what has happened in our lives and how to use our past to help us.

This was a great session to help me learn to prioritize my relationship with myself. Kory shared skills to reduce negativity and to pay attention to all four pillars.

I would say that this reignited the light at the end of the tunnel for me. This made me look inward and believe in myself and my abilities. Thank you so much, Kory.

This was very insightful and grounding. I appreciate the focus on centering yourself especially in a field when so many of us put others before ourself.

Very inspiring and made me realize everybody is dealing with something and that we are never going through something alone and that we are in control

I would describe the session as powerful and moving. It gave me tools to improve myself and tools to help provide the best care to my patients.

Feedback for Kory M. and the event

Kory’s talk opened my eyes to the variability of what “self-care” actually is. She provided many helpful and realistic tips to start improving our relationship with ourselves while living a busy life.

What a fabulous way to start the conference! We as PTs rarely take the time to think of ourselves and it is vital to our ability to help others. More PTs and health professionals need to hear this!

Excellent keynote! Thank you for sharing your story and relating your experiences to help us better take care of ourselves so we can better take care of our patients.

These talks for healthcare workers are extremely important to remember when working with all patients/clients!
