Lauren's Bio
Lauren Wu is a privacy attorney, executive leader, and keynote speaker who helps organizations turn authenticity and empathy into strategic advantages. With experience leading privacy and compliance at global healthcare and technology companies, she has built high-performing teams in some of the most complex, high-stakes environments. Lauren is the creator of the HEART framework—Humanity, Environment, Alignment, Resilience, and Trust—which redefines leadership for a world where burnout is high and expectations are even higher. Her work challenges the belief that strength requires emotional distance, showing instead how human-centered leadership drives trust, performance, and sustainable impact. Known for her powerful storytelling and practical insights, Lauren’s talks leave audiences with the tools and confidence to lead without editing themselves—and without losing themselves in the process.

Frequently Asked Questions on Working With Lauren
What should I know about working with you?
I’m a collaborative, well-prepared partner who communicates clearly and delivers a high-impact experience. I tailor key elements to your audience while keeping the message strong and engaging, and I’m comfortable adapting in real time to ensure relevance and value.
Can you customize your presentation for our specific audience and event theme?
Yes—key elements of the presentation can be tailored to your audience, including examples, language, and applications to ensure relevance. At the same time, the core message is intentionally universal, designed to resonate across industries, roles, and levels of leadership.
What kind of promotional support do you offer to help market the event?
I support promotion before and after the event through LinkedIn and social media, including event announcements, speaker highlights, and post-event takeaways. I’m also happy to collaborate on custom content such as short videos, quotes, or preview insights to drive engagement.
Do you offer extras (book signings, meet-and-greets)?
Yes—add-ons such as meet and greets can be arranged based on the needs of the event. Once my book is published (expected in late 2026), I would also welcome the opportunity to include book signings.
Will I receive post-event materials (slides, recordings, handouts)?
Yes—attendees will receive a copy and summary of the presentation slides. When appropriate, I also provide a tailored takeaway or resource to reinforce key concepts and support continued application after the session. If a recording is agreed to by both parties, a recording may be provided.
What is your policy on event recordings and media rights?
Recording and usage rights are agreed in advance. Internal use is limited to a defined period; extended or external use requires additional licensing. Any promotional use requires prior approval, and content must remain unaltered with proper attribution.
What are your specific travel requirements?
I prefer direct flights from SFO, when available. For flights over 3 hours, I request business class; for shorter flights, I prefer premium economy due to my height and disability.
