Even early in the morning, Lilah thought a bright and engaging energy to the stage. It was clear that her advice drew from a deep well of personal experience and her willingness to share and vulnerability really resonated. I also appreciated the creative ways she drove her points home through visual aids like her carryon suitcase and travel stories that illustrated challenges she overcame. It was a fantastic talk that held my attention the entire time and I’m walking away with new ideas to empower and push myself to be even better. Thank you, Lilah!

Making you think in a different way. I think it’s rather ingrained that feedback is bad. And I think that is from earlier styles of feedback where the focus was on dissecting the problem. But not resolving. More of a point to finger operation. That kind of process leaves a bad taste. This has been helpful to look at the process of receiving feedback. How to process it. Your personal reference on how you managed feedback to a personality clash was a great example on how to use this tool.

Excellent engagement, working with an academic crowd can be tough. We can be quiet folks but the message does sink in. Facts tell, stories inspire. In my opinion the best academic presentations at I2MTC conference are always backed with a good story, thanks for making this approach clear and actionable!

This session urges leaders to take control and be intentional about their impact. To begin the journey, we must address the areas/behaviors we have adapted that are keeping us from being great and do the work to remove the barriers not serving us.

Lilah was an excellent and engaging speaker. She gave us real life examples and tools that we can use to bring improvement to our personal and professional lives. There was a nice balance of listening and interaction. I really enjoyed it!

Lilah was candid, inspirational and made solving leadership issue sound easy by outlining, what should be common-sense steps, to solve them. The hard part is putting those into action. Fabulous speaker in an equally fabulous dress.

This is what us Tech people are trying to get across to non tech people. Anyone can be a victim of fraud and scams and instead of pointing fingers we need to work together to inform and protect and build systems to keep everyone safe.

Lilah’s energy, enthusiasm and dynamism made our feedback session well worth it. Lilah gave us a great framework and validation on how to approach giving & receiving feedback. And invaluable skill!

Engaging and thought provoking on how to give valuable and effective feedback and how to receive it. That I may need to work on looking at it from a non personal perspective at work.
