Frequently Asked Questions on Working With Mark
What should I know about working with you?
A client once said, “You were the easiest part of this entire event.” I take that seriously. I show up early, deliver with heart, and stay flexible. No ego, no drama. Just real talk and connection with your audience.
What's included in your fee?
My fee includes keynote delivery (plus bonus talks if desired), videos for social media marketing for your event, a prep call, full customization, and follow-up. Travel’s either included or a flat buyout. One client said, “You handled it all. No back-and-forth. Thank you!” That’s always my goal.
Can you customize your presentation for our specific audience and event theme?
Always. A client once told me, “It felt like you worked here.” That’s because I dive deep with your industry, your culture, your goals so the message is relatable, practical, and actionable.
What kind of promotional support do you offer to help market the event?
Need a promo video or custom post to build excitement? Done. One client dropped it into their event email and said, “Our RSVP numbers jumped in a day.” I’m here to help boost awareness and drive my audience to sign up for the event.
How do you engage audiences post-event?
Talkadot is perfect for sharing my presentations, thanking them for their time and their feedback (both positive and constructive). I offer tools, downloads, or follow-up sessions to keep the energy alive long after the applause. Never a hard sell; value first!
Do you offer extras (book signings, meet-and-greets)?
Absolutely. I never drop the microphone and jet to the airport. I’m all in for team chats, or just hanging out after. It’s often where the best conversations happen, especially as every company has their own unique challenge; let's take time to get specific and solution-oriented.
My organization has a limited budget. Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?
Yes. I love opportunities to provide value while creating new assets (video, photos, and testimonials) to help reach new audiences. I’ve offered virtual sessions, bundled events, and mission-based pricing. If there’s alignment, I’ll try to make it work. I’m here for impact, not just invoices.
Will I receive post-event materials (slides, recordings, handouts)?
Yes! Slides, takeaways, or tools, I am happy to share. Just let me know what your team needs. For recordings, we’ll align ahead of time. One client turned theirs into a training module!
What is your policy on event recordings and media rights?
The more people see my message to help people shine, the better. Happy to allow for recordings and sharing materials, especially if I can use the media for my own marketing!
What are your specific travel requirements?
I fly out of Portland, Oregon. Primary airline: Alaska/OneWorld; hotel chain: Marriott. Direct flights when possible, a quiet hotel close to the venue, and I’m good! Or give me a flat buyout and I’ll handle the rest. One planner said, “I forgot you were even traveling; you just showed up ready.”
