Marshaya's Bio

Marshaya Rountree, M.S., LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Giving Grace Counseling, a private practice specializing in intergenerational trauma and financial wellness. She also serves as the Assistant Clinical Director at Agnes Scott College, where she leads clinical services and wellness programming with a focus on culturally responsive care. Marshaya is currently pursuing certification as a Financial Therapist through the Financial Therapy Association and is passionate about helping people break cycles of financial and emotional trauma. She has presented nationally with Counselors for Social Justice and the American College Counseling Association, co-authored a chapter in Intersectional Counseling Skills, and lectured at institutions such as Agnes Scott College, Georgia State University, and the University of Georgia on the intersection of trauma, money, and mental health theories.
