James electrifies educators with his passionate approach to improving outcomes for Black boys in mathematics. He transforms complex research into accessible, actionable strategies that participants describe as "inspiring," "engaging," and "informative," creating a "low risk opportunity" for educators to reflect on sensitive topics. His unique talent lies in "extracting sound theory from applied success" while delivering practical advice with humor and authenticity that leaves audiences feeling "empowered" and "ready to make changes." Participants walk away with concrete tools to create learning environments where all students thrive, particularly Black boys who have been historically underserved. His sessions serve as a "springboard to reflecting on your own beliefs and practices," sparking rich conversations that lead to powerful mindset shifts and immediate classroom implementation.
