Nisha's Bio

Nisha Mody, MLIS, MA, CCC-SLP helps leaders and teams build cultures of trust and safety where people can have honest conversations, collaborate effectively, and actually want to stay. Her work is rooted in a trauma-informed, relational approach to leadership and communication—focusing not just on what to say, but how we show up with integrity, attunement, and care. Before becoming a coach and facilitator, she built a multi-disciplinary career across six fields, including IT consulting, recruiting, speech-language pathology, and librarianship. She most recently served at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine and the Network of the National Library of Medicine. Her approach is also shaped by lived experience—particularly healing from an abusive marriage—which deepens her ability to support others navigating power, voice, and relational dynamics. Through workshops, keynotes, and coaching, she helps people feel safe, seen, and supported. Learn more at www.nishaland.com
