Pamela's Bio
Pamela J. Pine, PhD, MPH is an international speaker and public health, development, and communications expert who has dedicated her career to improving lives in 30+ countries. Since 2000, she has focused on childhood trauma, specializing in preventing/addressing child sexual abuse (CSA), trafficking, and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Founder and former CEO of Stop the Silence® – Stop Child Sexual Abuse, Inc., Dr. Pine now directs Stop the Silence® at the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT), leading global advocacy, education, and training efforts. A professor, best-selling author, poet, and multimedia artist, she uses the arts to inspire awareness and healing. What should I know about working with you?
I am highly flexible and want to know what you need and want. I can and will tailor for the needs of your population, whether that is helping HR and management better address childhood trauma to increase productivity or providing a comprehensive overview of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
Do you offer extras (book signings, meet-and-greets)?
Yes, I have led collaborative books and written books/book chapters for adults and children on relevant topics. I am happy to do book signings and meet-and-greets.
My organization has a limited budget. Do you have any flexibility in your pricing?
Yes. I have a base fee that can be adjusted by providing some services from the organization that will cost you nothing but are important and worth a lot to me (e.g., recording my talk).
What are your specific travel requirements?
Unless local, I require travel, hotel, and meals.
