Pamela's Bio

Pamela J. Pine, PhD, MPH is an international speaker and public health, development, and communications expert who has dedicated her career to improving lives in 30+ countries. Since 2000, she has focused on childhood trauma, specializing in preventing/addressing child sexual abuse (CSA), trafficking, and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Founder and former CEO of Stop the Silence® – Stop Child Sexual Abuse, Inc., Dr. Pine now directs Stop the Silence® at the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT), leading global advocacy, education, and training efforts. A professor, best-selling author, poet, and multimedia artist, she uses the arts to inspire awareness and healing.
