Dr. Tinita Ortega Kearney is an award-winning pediatric speech-language pathologist, author, and nationally recognized speaker transforming inclusive education. She is the creator of a time-efficient, equity-centered training model that equips educators to confidently serve diverse learners. Her approach enhances teacher preparedness, boosts student engagement, and reduces disproportionality in special education. With a Ph.D. from Howard University and over a decade of experience across public and non-public schools, she bridges theory and practice to drive real impact. As Vice Chair of Maryland’s Board of Examiners, she earned a Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Kearney is also the author of the award-winning lift-the-flap board book series, "Lola Koala’s Travel Adventures", which supports early speech and language development.
