It's an interactive session that pushes you to reflect on your network and gives you tools to reflect on ways to expand your network. Also very inclusive and knowledgeable speaker who makes great points on inclusion in the workplace.
Very insightful about my own network I don't typically think about. Created a desire to start being proactive about these inclusive methods of networking.
Enrichment and eye opening
Insightful and helpful
Great session!
Feedback for Amy and the event
I appreciate the discussion on including people in the conversation who don't make it through the door - I think with some discussion I heard, some folks were saying that there isn't much diversity that they can include in their networks because of who they happen to work with, etc. But I think that's an important point of how to change that. And also educating ourselves about other folks' battles. Thank you for speaking to the experiences of trans and non-binary people as well, and how many folks don't discuss their sexuality because they don't feel safe. I have struggled with that for a time. Now am more open and out but only through these networks will the spaces become more safe and inclusive for people. Thank you for an amazing talk.
You called my comment out but prefaced it with saying my name - but mispronounced my name. It is a common thing I usually deal with, but I wanted to point out because you continued to call out comments but didn't name anyone else.
