How attendees describe this talk

It was extremely motivational and inspiring. I feel it was personable as the way he was speaking, he had connected with everyone individually and emotionally. He gave insight on trauma in the beginning and it was a great way to start it off. He talked a lot about personal experiences and how he felt during certain moments of trauma and how he grew. Not only how he grew but the steps one should take when growing. How to push yourself to grow. How to allow yourself to grow and how to let yourself know you’re capable and worthy enough to grow. I cried three separate times. Definitely a great speaker and you should look into him and really listen to what he has to say. Everyone has a seed of greatness in them. It’s whether or not you want to stay dormant or not. Green pushed himself for his grandmother and was no longer dormant, he grew into somebody he didn’t think he could ever be as a child. This is inspiring what!? Somebody who went through more traumatic experiences than many have, has a life many people wish for. I know it’s not perfect and nobody knows what happens behind closed doors but he forgave the people who hurt him, has a beautiful family, travels the country to speak to youth, etc. A very beautiful story and an inspiring man.

This man is very inspiring from his background to now he is the definition of don’t let your surroundings effect you future because he became more and letting us know that we can be more and better in life for ourselves. This speaker was amazing and touched almost every bit of my trauma that went on in my life but I bet you will be able to find some setting points where you can empathize with him. He was amazing. Hope to interview you some day…

I am a permanency planning SW for Wilmington, NC. All of the adult sessions were full. I would describe this session as very informative, entertaining, and eye opening to the youth. In addition to relatable ! Understanding and hearing someone’s else story to let youth know that you cannot control what has happened to you but you are in control of your future!

It was very inspiring but I would love for him to find another approach when speaking to the younger youth. Yes, talking about his childhood was amazing but I would love to hear more about how he was able to go through college and see the greater on the end. How he dealt with hard times. Is he successful in the career he has now.

This session elaborates how you can still grow in a bad environment. No matter how much trauma you go through, you can still reach your goals with the right resources, the right mindset, the right people.

The session was informative and impactful for youth. It encouraged and motivated youth to look past the situation they are in and empower them to see their potential and pursue their goals/dreams.

It was very inspiring on how we can take our seed of greatness which is dormant, give it the conditions to germinate and turn it into a rose even in the toughest parts of our lives

I would definitely have to say this session was truly inspiring and marinates within your spirit and motivate you towards striving for greater things you wish to achieve in life.

This is something you have to experience on your own! His message and character is something indescribable, he was extremely down to earth, real, and relatable.

Feedback for Antonio and the event

This hit me a little hard when he spoke about finding out our why. I’ve always known my why, my why is my brothers. I’ve raised them, I tried to be the person they needed. I stepped up when no one would. They are the reason I am still alive and going to this day. I recently have a brother pass away and it has driven me more. Like I think “I got to do this, for him. I’ve got to achieve and show him I can do this” but not only for him but the other two too. I’m going to show them that despite what we went through, we can go far and achieve our dreams.

He was real the whole time! He showed his true emotions, didn’t hide who he was, where he’s from, and his real story no matter how bad it was. He is unlike the majority of speakers, it was something most speakers in the topic are not to capable of. He spoke on the good bad and ugly, most people only talk about the good. He is definitely a good person to get all the sides from!

I feel like the demonstration with the 3 volenteers could have been more interactive for them instead of just having them dump the dirt and etc. but it was a good demonstration I’m just thinking utilize your volunteers more

He’s incredibly energetic and if your looking for a quite speaker than he is not for you but if you want someone to keep your blood pumping than he is perfect

I am starting my YouTube and documentary and starting a career socially about the youth in care just hoping to give them a bigger platform to be seen.

I highly appreciate you for sharing your experience and it’ll wiill surely help me confirm my why and breaks down my reasoning to stay motivated

Keep doing what you’re doing Mr. Green. You’re amazing. You touched my heart today and I’m grateful.

This session inspires me even more to listen to youth that are are in the substitute care system.

To keep going and I hope everything thing in life go well for you and your family you got this
