How attendees describe this talk
Thank You for sharing your story. It was amazing. As a person from chicago as well. Even though my life was different. My heart goes out to the people and things I had no idea about that were going on in the city. I’m glad you could take all of your life experiences and turn them into joy !
Good. I saw myself screaming this at my parents as a teenager facing indescribably intense abuse. I eventually found the streets safer than that home. I can't say I learned anything but it felt validating.
Relatable. His talk resonated with me on so many levels. On of the major connections is that I am a from Chicago live through many challenges as well. AWESOME keep inspiring!!!
It was informative speaker that shared his past experiences in foster care and how to refrain from negative labels and be positive. You start by changing the language.
Very interesting, often our youth are labeled and looked past all of their talents and contributions they have to offer. Very informative.
This session was very informative and gave alot of insight on ways we can correct actions that can better assist our youth and families
The session was informative, engaging and an overall positive experience that I can take back to the workplace and change the culture.
Very informative and captivating. I really enjoyed and appreciated him using his life story to help to understand the message
Our company will be hosting all of our members and contractors as we have strategy sessions and plan for the upcoming FY.
Feedback for Antonio and the event
Great choice for speaker as he reminds “us” as child welfare staff that we must be committed to keeping our word with our youths in care. Obtaining their trust is important as “we” (DFCS) maybe their last hope and/or support.
He did an amazing job! I can relate to some of his story and it made me very proud of him for his resilience
Excellent speaker! An inspiration to all Social Workers that we do make a difference!
It really was great. I wish it was longer and he had more time to present
His energy was amazing! I loved the personal stories and anecdotes!
This guy is awesome and the message was so great and inspirational
I loved the topic and we’re definitely quick to label our youth.

It’s awesome to hear someone’s success stories.
