How much does it cost to use Talkadot to find a speaker?

There is no cost for event planners to search, vet, or book speakers on Talkadot. Our core speaker sourcing and booking tools will always be free for planners.

Similar to platforms like Airbnb, or Upwork, our business model is based on successful matches. When you book a speaker through Talkadot, we receive a standard commission from the speaker’s fee because we brought them the engagement. The price you see on a speaker's profile is the price you pay. There are no hidden platform fees or surprise charges for you.

Are you a speaker's bureau

No, we are a data-driven marketplace, which gives you more transparency and choice.

Traditional bureaus represent a limited, curated roster of speakers. Talkadot is an open platform with over 10,000 speakers, giving you access to a much wider range of talent, topics, and price points.

Instead of relying on an agent's opinion, our matching is based on objective audience data and verified feedback, so you can see how a speaker has performed in front of audiences just like yours.

Are the speaker fees on their profile negotiable?

Often, yes. The "Typical Fee" listed is the speaker's standard rate for that engagement type and serves as a reliable starting point for your budget.However, many professional speakers are open to discussion based on the specifics of an event, such as multi-booking opportunities, travel convenience, or the unique nature of the audience. The best approach is to message the speaker directly to have a transparent conversation about your budget and needs. Our platform is designed to facilitate that direct negotiation. Will speakers customize their content for my event?

Most professional speakers on Talkadot are happy to customize their content to better resonate with your audience.

You can see a speaker's general approach to customization in the FAQ section of their profile. For specific requests, reach out and discuss with the speaker to see how they can tailor their message to your event's theme and your audience's unique challenges.
