Can I add data from a non-Talkadot Survey?

Short answer, with an explanation as to why that is our answer.

Hey everyone!

I’ve heard this question a lot and so I wanted to make sure it was addressed in an easy to reference place.

The answer here is pretty straightforward, but I know its not one everyone will be happy about. The answer is that you can’t.

The thing is, Talkadot’s value is our reliability. Event Planners know that any data on our service came in through one of our Survey Codes. That’s verifiable data. If we uploaded something from a spreadsheet, we simply wouldn’t know where that data is coming from.

‍

Our goal is to give you the ability to build up what we call ‘Proof Equity’.

Think about renting versus owning a home. Rent disappears every month. You pay it, you get shelter, and the money is gone. A mortgage payment builds equity you keep.

Speaking has always worked like renting. You give a great talk. The room loves you. You walk off stage. And the proof of how good you were disappears with the room.

Talkadot flips you from renting to owning. Every talk adds verified attendee feedback to a track record you own. It compounds. And when a planner wants to check it, they're not taking your word for it. They're looking at what real audiences said, collected by an impartial third party.

Trust in this industry is at an all-time low.

There's more noise than ever, and planners have been burned before. "Trust me, I'm good" doesn't cut it anymore. Now you can skip the trust-me and go right to the showing.

‍

Build proof with feedback after every talk. Use proof in your proposals and your new social shares. Get booked because planners can see your proof for themselves.

Build Proof. Use Proof. Get Booked by Proof.

‍

For all of that to work, your audience data has to be bulletproof. Planners need to know it came in through the same system that every other speaker their looking at used. So while I know it can be frustrating to have gotten some great response to an old event, there’s simply no way to bring that over to Talkadot.

Until next time!
