How big of a video can I upload?

Quick one for you today, but I wanted to answer a question I’ve gotten a few times. How big of a video can you upload on your account? Well the answer is that that depends on where you’re uploading it!

The Media Kit (also sometimes referred to as your Speaker Toolkit) has a 2GB file size limit, but each of your Speech Topics has a 10GB limit.

This means that your Speech Topics can hold a much longer video, if you want something impressive than what can appear on the carousel at the top of your Public Profile!

While you can absolutely select a video from your Media Kit to be the video on your Speech Topic, keep this in mind if your video is too large. Also, the Media Kit can only house 10 files, but things uploaded directly to the Speech Topics are stored separately and don’t count against this number, if you’re looking to add more proof of your speaking history to your account.

Also, you can link a video from Vimeo and then the size doesn't matter! At this time*, we don't have a connection with YouTube, so if your videos are hosted there, you'll need to download them and upload them directly.
