How to download your data, and the different kinds of exports

Hello everyone!
Today we’re going to discuss how to export your audience data into a CSV, and what that looks like. While there isn’t currently a way to export all of your data off of your account in a single file, there are three different types of exports available to you.
Okay, let’s start with the easiest! If you go to your ‘Leads’ page, you can see a list of all of your collected leads. You can click the checkbox above the list to select all, or click the leads individually to select only a few, and then you can select ‘Download Selected’ to obtain a CSV of those leads:

You can also choose a type of lead in the header above the list, to view only Booking Leads, Referral Leads, or Opt Ins. Selecting all in any of those categories will only select everything within the category, so its a good way to sort down to only the data you need.
One its downloaded, you’ll see a file called ‘Talkadot-leads-export.csv’ that will have all of the information.

The spreadsheet will show you when the lead came in, their first and last name, the title of the talk the lead came in from (if you have added that to the event information), the organization for the talk (same as before), phone number, email address, the organization and job title information they provided, whether or not you have marked them contacted, what their ‘hotness level’ is, whether they are a booking, referral, or opt in lead (a lead can be both opt in and another category) and the opportunity details.
The other two types of exports are both event specific. You choose a specific Talk, and export all the data from that event.
On the ‘View Feedback’ page you can click the three dots to the right of a specific talk, and then select either ‘Download Leads’ or ‘Download All Data’*:

Download Leads is functionally identical to downloading them from the ‘Leads’ page, but gets you everyone (regardless of lead type) from the event in question.
Download All Data will give you a CSV with every survey question response from each audience member, including custom questions. If you are combining spreadsheets from multiple events, please note that the order of the questions on the CSV may differ, if the order of the questions in the survey is different.

*You might be wondering, why are there two different types of downloads here? Well one is designed specifically for lead information (Download Leads) and the other is designed to give you every response from your audience, in case you have your own data analysis you want to do!
Hope this all helps, and I’ll see you in the next article! ✌️
