An overview of the tags that are just under your talk data on your Public Profile

Hello hello!
I hear a lot people asking how the tags on their Public Profile are chosen. I’m talking about these things:

These tags actually work in two totally different way, so let’s talk about them.
First off, the ‘Speaks On’ tags at the top. The 'Speaks On' tags on your Profile are generated automatically based on your created Speech Topics!
Each topic will generate up to two tags (if there's enough information for the system to do so) based on the description you put in on the Speech Topic. Its important that these tags stay impartial, and are created by the system, so while we can delete tags on your behalf, we cannot edit them. If you want to change a tag, you can try editing the Speech Topic, and then let me know over at [email protected], and I can get the system to generate new tags.
Your Profile will display a maximum of six distinct tags. If all of your tags are unique, then three Speech Topics will hit this cap, but if you have the same tag on multiple Topics it may take more.
The ‘Speaks To’ and ‘Format’ tags are much more simple. They are both controlled by the data you input on your Talks when you create them.
Question 5 during Talk setup asks you about the demographic you're speaking to, and the six most common audience types on your talks are what shows up on your Profile.

Likewise, the Format tag is chosen the same way, based on the data provided in question 4.

Pretty straightforward on those second two, but if you have any questions, you know where to find me.
Until next time! ✌️
